Suzanne
M. Bock
Suzanne Bock founded Inter|phil after almost two decades
of service in corporate governance, legal management, community organizations,
fundraising and media relations.
Most
recently she served as Vice President of Philanthropy Magazine for more than two years. During her tenure,
Suzanne developed relationships with some of the most influential
philanthropists from around the world, who were featured as profiles and cover stories in the magazine.
With
a double major in Legal Studies and Business Administration
from William Woods University, Suzanne’s career has taken her from running
law firms and an architectural design firm to managing marketing and
business development for companies across a range of industries.
Suzanne
has coordinated large budgets, large staffs and large numbers of
volunteers. She has produced and served on numerous galas and
fundraising events, including the Beaux Arts Ball, the 9/11
Freedom 5K Run and Festival, Junior League Ball of Dallas,
and the American Heart Association Cotes du Couer Ball. Suzanne also founded the NEXT Generation of Philanthropists organization
for young philanthropists. She
has served on several local nonprofit boards, including The Assist
The Officer Foundation and an international
board for The Rodinia Foundation.
In addition, she produced the Philanthropy Word Hall of Fame Awards
for 2002 and 2003 and served as liaison to international philanthropists,
celebrities and their foundations including Prince Albert of
Monaco, Leeza Gibbons, Chuck Norris,
Christopher Reeves, David Robinson
and Mike Modano, to name just a few.
Prior
to co-founding Inter|phil, Suzanne was already a respected
community and business leader, with clients and friends among the
most influential business, political and community leaders in Texas,
the U.S. and internationally. She
is a devoted and loving aunt to three nieces and two nephews. When
Suzanne is not tirelessly working, she enjoys visiting her family
and friends around the world.
